Reece of Location

Studio, Reece -

Rationale -

I believe this location to be ideal for a location within some of my shots in the magazine, firstly due to the fact that it provides a plain white background which is key to my magazine as I will be able to control the colour of it through editing. The studio is also ideal as it provides key lighting to either side of the background, which will provide a high key image; perfect for the front cover of my magazine and the enviroment of the location is completley controllable by me as the director which may not be applicable factor within out-door locations. This location is also away from the public meaning their will be no distrubance to them or the shoot, meaning a more easyily done photo shoot and better pictures.

Forest/Party, Reece -

Rationale -

The wooded area pictured above is an ideal location as it provides a key aspect in my design which is the idea of a freeness which may appeal to an audience as through representation of their attitude (gathered through research). The wooded area above is ideal to my magazine as it provides key lighting which is not overbearing, meaning the model will not be lost, as may happen with many out-door locations due the sun's light as a backdrop. Another appeal of the location is that it is easily accessible by myself and the models, being only a short distanced walk from my house.

Stairs, Reece -

Rationale -

This location is ideal for the shoot due to the fact it projects a key aspect of my audiences behaviour which is solidarity and is shown here by the old wooden stairs and the fact the model will be peeking from behind the banister. The lighting within the area is great as it is not overbearing in light and the model will not be lost, but be enhanced through the use of natrual and kae lighting. The location is also easily accesible to myself and my models as it is at college and away from the public.

Art Centre, Reece -

Rationale -
For this image I was unable to take a picture within the art centre due to the amount of the public within the centre at the time, which also may be a problem with the location, but is easily controlled if the right day or time is chosen for the time. Apart from the flaw in the location before, the location is ideal as it provides within the art centre the key aspect of a comfortable looking enviroment, which is shown in this location by the presence of seats. The lighting within the location will be ideal as it will provide natrual and fake lighting in a managable balance which will not be over bearing to the models prescence within the shot. The location of this shot is also a very accessible place, just as the ones before due to it being right next doot to the college and being the place where our media studies lessons are held.
